“For this show, my inspiration was primarily based in the concept of doublethink. I combined the eclectic feel of a library with the sterile conditions of a torture room to create an environment that seems completely contradictory but still unified. This doublethink idea was carried throughout the show. The diary is a solid color because of its duality. It has to easily blend into the background, but also pop out.”
