“1984 to me is a very ambiguous and anxious show, and so to capture this we decided that we wanted to leave the audience with a sense of looming dread. The work that went into designing our soundscape was a very tedious task due to the script allowing for a multitude of emotions at any given time, so to combat this we compiled all of our ideas and sprinkled them throughout moments in the show, which in my opinion is what makes it sounds great. During this creative process, we were forced to think outside of the box and flesh out what we as individuals believe 1984 to be about and I hope you can understand our work as you view our show.”
