AIRNESS
Airness is a comedic, heartfelt play by Chelsea Marcantel exploring the quirky, energetic world of competitive air guitar. When Nina, a real guitarist, enters her first air guitar competition, she assumes her musical background will give her an easy win. Instead, she discovers a passionate subculture where mastery isn’t about playing a real instrument, but rather about embodying the spirit of the music, and tapping into something deeper known in the community as “airness”.
