Kate mosse
The taxidermist’s
Daughter
The Taxidermist’s Daughter is a gothic thriller play by Kate Mosse, adapted from her novel and set in 1912 Sussex. On these isolated Sussex marshes, a young woman lives with her troubled father, once a celebrated taxidermist whose past has left deep scars. When a woman is found dead nearby and strange events begin to unfold, long-hidden secrets surrounding the family’s former museum start to surface. As memories return and old wrongs come to light, she is forced to confront the truth about what happened years ago—and the damage that has finally came back to claim its justice.
