“The set for Mr. Burns is, at its heart, heavily inspired by the design and structure of the actual Simpsons set pieces, as the cast attempts to replicate the environment from that world. At the same time, we needed to replicate the environment that would be commonplace in this post-apocalyptic world of Mr. Burns, such as an expansive forest, in Act I. Recreating this world that is so unique to Mr. Burns helps to immerse the audience in the story of the show even more.”
